  • 2 cups split pea
  • 6 cups vegetarian Broth low sodium or water
  • 1 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1cup celery
  • 2tbs olive oil
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbs Seasoning salt or add amount to your taste
  • 1/2 lb of diced turkey ham (if desired)

Sauté onions until translucent
Add in carrots, celery, and seasonings. Let cook with onions for 5 minutes. Add in peas, and broth/water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 20-35 minutes or until your desired tenderness.
